"My artistic career has been a rich and varied one!"
Welcome to ARTBOXuk, the creative haven founded and nurtured by me, Sylvie, a seasoned artist and educator with a passion for bringing art and craft to life.
My journey in the arts began over four decades ago, and since the 1980s, I have dedicated my life to teaching and inspiring others through the vibrant world of creativity.
About Me
My artistic career has been a rich and varied one. I have Equity liability insurance and I have taught art at every level, from beginners to degree students, for over 28 years. My expertise spans a broad range of disciplines, from ceramics to painting, and my passion for sharing this knowledge led me to take early retirement and focus on what I love most – working directly with people of all ages and backgrounds to unlock their creative potential.
Whether it's through a paintbrush or a pottery wheel, I believe that everyone has the capacity for creativity. It’s not about precision or perfection but about the joy of taking part and achieving something uniquely your own.
Since 2013, I have channelled this belief into ARTBOXuk, where I offer a welcoming space for anyone eager to explore their artistic side. My workshops and classes are all-inclusive, and designed to be accessible to all, whether you're a seasoned artist or someone who has never picked up a paintbrush before.
My motto is simple: creativity is inside all of us, and my role is to help you find and nurture it.
What I Offer
At ARTBOXuk, I provide a wide range of art and craft workshops tailored to meet the needs and interests of each participant. From the rhythmic hum of machine sewing to the meditative strokes of painting, and the tactile satisfaction of working with clay in pottery and ceramics, there's something for everyone.
My services are available throughout Twickenham and the surrounding areas, and I am proud to have collaborated with local charities and community centres, making art accessible to all.
In addition to workshops, I also offer commissioned artwork, where I bring your vision to life on canvas or in clay. My pieces are available for purchase in a local shop, where you can see the passion and craftsmanship that goes into every creation.
Safety and professionalism are paramount in everything I do. I hold an enhanced DBS check, and Home Office clearance, and am fully qualified, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
Reach Out
